Measure heat the standard H30T range cannot handle
With the filter installed, the H30T expands to 0°C to 1600°C in Low Gain mode and -20°C to 450°C in High Gain mode, giving teams more room to assess extreme thermal scenes.

DJI says the filter helps with temperature variation assessment and rapid locating of high-temperature points, making it a strong fit for fire response and industrial heat-risk checks.
Protects the thermal workflow in extreme scenes
Without the filter, DJI warns not to observe subjects above 800°C, as high-energy heat sources can damage the infrared sensor. The filter is the correct accessory when temperatures may exceed that normal limit.
Know the trade-off before you use it
DJI confirms the filter reduces IR signal reception and degrades image quality, so it is not suitable for normal-temperature observation and is recommended for Low Gain mode.
